…… is a San Francisco Bay area musician. Known primarily as a bassist, he is also an accomplished singer-songwriter with a style blending influences of Steve Earle, Bob Dylan, David Byrne and Frank Black.

Roy has been performing since the early 80's when he anchored the rhythm section of the Detroit punk favorites CIA. Later, he held down the rhythm in Ann Arbor's New Grass phenomenon Deadbeat Society. While seemingly different musical styles, Roy had taken the punk energy of CIA and channeled it seamlessly into the unique sound that was Deadbeat Society.

Today, that exuberant punk edge and down home bluegrass sound can be found in his songwriting and bass playing. Look for his debut record with Last Stop - Western Music - Due for release in August 2005.
