When I first met Singer/Songwriter JJ Schultz he performed regularly as a solo artist. Intensely playing his guitar, belting and crooning his folk/rock/country songs filled with stories of Americana and heartache. Over the years he's been a real gem in the landscape of the SF scene.
Working in the studio at Westlake, he relesaed his debut CD 'Bustin outa town' in 2004 and this years 'Something To Me' with his new 'ALL-STAR' band.
Interesting enough, for a number of years JJ has been known for recording performers at the legendary open mic night at The Hotel Utah Saloon, regularly releasing 'THE UTAH MIX' CD compilations the following week.
Some of you may remember back when JJ hosted the Beer Drinkin' Acoustic and brought together so many of us at the Brainwash Cafe.
In 2005, We now have The JJ Schultz Band, whose new CD "Something To Me" was Produced by JJ Schulz and Alex James Muscat is due for release late summer 2005.
